The event D2D is conceptualized by Neville Endeavour's Foundation (NEF) to raise funds for worthy cause.
The D2D 2025 will raise funds for cancer affected children.
The D2D 2025 event is a combination of running and cycling.
The event creates awareness for the cause which supports health and education and raises fund for the needy especially children.
Neville J Bilimoria
Neville Jamshed Bilimoria, the man behind DAWN TO DUSK and DUSK TO DAWN events (D2D). Neville’s passion of giving the best to every activity that he takes up while inspiring others to be healthy and fit, was the beginning of his endeavours. Neville along with his team has raised for charity INR 4.43 crores till date through the 7 editions of D2D since 2012.
He is a national silver medallist in rowing. As an endurance athlete completed 70 marathons world-wide. He is also an Ultra Cyclist and holds Super Randonneur title for 13th consecutive year since 2010. Two-times finisher of Paris-Brest-Paris (PBP).
Completed 6 world major marathons - Berlin 2018, Tokyo 2019, London 2019, New York 2019, Boston 2022, Chicago 2024.
Holds 3 National records in running and cycling from Limca Records for covering 12 hours for 2014, 2015 & 2018
Past Editions and Achievements
Raised INR 4.43 crores till date in the last 7 editions through D2D events. The funds were used for Education and Healthcare of the needy children.
Since the 1st edition of D2D marathon and upto the 7th edition, funds have been successfully raised through a collaborative effort involving multiple organizations and through sponsors. The funds were donated to the following organisations:
- 1st edition: In the year 2012, awareness was created for Round Table India and the funds that was raised used for building classrooms for the underprivileged children.
- 2nd edition: In the year 2013, awareness was created towards the children affected by Cerebral Palsy. The funds that were raised used for the God’s own children towards their treatment and purchase of Therasuit.
- 3rd edition: In the year 2014, again the event D2D for the 2nd time raised funds and awareness towards the children affected by Cerebral Palsy. The funds that were raised used for the God’s own children towards their treatment and purchase of Therasuit. An aqua-therapy was built and donated.
- 4th edition: In the year 2014, Chennai witnessed the first ever Chennai’s Night Marathon towards creating awareness on Organ donation and raised substantial funds for LYLF, Apollo Hospitals towards the treatment of children’s’ organ transplantation.
- 5th edition: In the year 2016, awareness was created for Round Table India – Freedom Through Education project and funds that was raised used towards building classrooms and toilet blocks for the underprivileged children.
- 6th edition: In the year 2018, the event created awareness and funds that were raised donated to Cancer Institute, Adyar (WIA) for the treatment of Cancer affected children.
- 7th edition: In the year 2021, the event created awareness and funds that were raised donated to Apollo Cancer Foundation for the treatment of Cancer affected children.
